We are currently looking to add to our JPII Athletics team! Organizing and overseeing the sports we offer while continuing to improve the quality of those sports at JPII takes a lot of work. While there is a lot to do, the joy of seeing a child score their first basket, win a deanery tournament, or just improve their skills over the season is a great thing to be a part of. You don't have to be a sports person or have any experience in coordinating sports to help out. We have a great team that is willing to help anyone interested.
Here are some things to consider:
-
A chance to give a gift of time and treasure for your Parish/School
-
You can get some awesome JPII Swag!!
-
Work alongside a great group of caring parents and volunteers
-
It is an excellent way to meet a lot of people if you are new to the school/parish
-
We have monthly meetings (usually at restaurants in the area)
Some of our responsibilities (why we need more volunteers)
- Over 100 gym/field shifts per year for basketball, volleyball, soccer, track
- Coordination for deanery level sports (3-8 grades)
-
